Williamson Co. Voting: Problems with check-in software led to switched ballots

Williamson County election officials say hundreds of voters may have voted in the wrong races today. Election officials are still trying to figure out how it happened.

Here's what we know so far. When nearly 600 Williamson County voters checked in Tuesday morning, new computer software assigned them the wrong ballot. So, let's say you live in Round Rock, the computer would give you a ballot meant for Georgetown voters.
