From WilcountyLine, July, 2008...
Williamson County held a ribbon cutting for CR 104 on Friday, July 18, at 9:30 a.m. at the southeast corner of Hwy 29 and the entrance to the new Georgetown 9th Grade Center. Williamson County partnered with TxDOT to widen SH 29 to include a two-lane left turn lane onto CR 104 and a traffic signal into Georgetown East View High School. Williamson County also reconstructed CR 104 into a four-lane roadway with storm sewer, curb and gutter. The road was designed by Steger Bizzell and constructed by Cash Construction. The project cost just under $2 million and was finished two weeks ahead of schedule.
