A new environmental initiative allows Hutto residents to dispose of hazardous household chemicals for free at the Williamson County Recycle Center. The city received a grant last year through the Capital Area Council of Governments in the amount of $34,000 to establish and implement this program. Each City of Hutto garbage service household will be eligible to receive a voucher each quarter, if the funding allows.
