Zachry awarded Trans-Texas Corridor contract

The Texas Transportation Commission has awarded Zachry American Infrastructure and ACS Infrastructure the contract to plan, develop, build and operate the Interstate 69 corridor.

I-69 is one of two highways being considered for the Trans-Texas Corridor -- a proposed multi-use, statewide network of transportation routes in Texas that will incorporate existing and new highways, railways, utility rights of way and toll roads. Parts of U.S. Highway 281 and U.S. 77 will become part of the future interstate.
