Bills aim to remove distractions from behind the wheel

New bills at the Capitol to crack down on distracted driving may force Texas drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and their eyes on the road.

At least eight bills this session target people who talk on the phone or text message while driving. Lawmakers say they'll go far in preventing accidents.
