The Williamson County Sheriff's Office assisted the United States Marshal's Lone Star Fugitive Task Force on July 10, 2008, with the arrest of a man wanted for murder.
Santos F. Garcia, 22, was wanted for last week's Fort Worth murder of a 17-year-old male. The investigation in Fort Worth revealed that after the homicide, Garcia fled the area and arrived in Williamson County at 603 Osage Drive, Leander on Sunday. The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force was notified of Garcia's probable whereabouts and surveillance was established, confirming Garcia's presence in the residence.
