The days may be turning colder, but the risk of fire in and around the home has not diminished since the summer months.
In the past month, peace officers across East Williamson County have written numerous citations for controlled burns that were in violation of the burn ban, which is still in effect, Taylor Fire Chief Bruce Watson said.
