Texas led all U.S. states in the amount of wind power capacity added in the third quarter, and now stands not only as a national leader in wind energy but an international one as well.
According to a report from the American Wind Energy Association, Texas — already the nation’s leader — added 693 megawatts of capacity, the most of any U.S. state, and more than half of the total added during the quarter.
