Austin police say someone is breaking into mailboxes in Southwest Austin, and they worry your identity could be at risk.
Homeowners in parts of southwest Austin call it a mailbox mess because they don't know what's been stolen. Police say hundreds of boxes have been pried open. And neighbors are worried their sensitive information could be in the hands of someone who is up to no good.
