Texas will receive $96.5 million from the federal government for repairs to roads and bridges damaged by this year’s natural emergencies and catastrophic events, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.
The federal government is allocating a total of $679 million to 28 states and Puerto Rico, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters said during a visit to Galveston Thursday.
