Dirty dining or good inspectors give Austin low ratings

A report released by the Center for Science in the Public Interest said Austin could be home to the dirtiest restaurants in America.

Of the 30 Austin restaurants reviewed, 80 percent acquired critical violations.

Each of Austin's more than 4,200 restaurants get inspected twice a year, but the city said the criticisms owe to the high quality of inspectors.
