He's got the seed, he's got the fertilizer, but the most important ingredient for a good corn crop just doesn't seem to want to be added to the mix.
The ingredient is rain, and one farmer in Taylor said he needs it desperately.
"With this moisture situation, so bleak as it is, it's hard to get excited about anything," Roger Seggren said.
