Firefighters, trying to get a major wildfire in Bastrop County under control before winds are expected to kick back up, are now dealing with another fire.
The newest fire broke out at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Camp Swift practice field, directly north of Bastrop.
The Texas Forest Service says an ammunition dump is threatened by the 25 acres fire. It is 75 percent contained. Several planes and a helicopter have been fighting the fire.
