Wild horses learn a new life through training program

More than 150 people went to an Elgin horse farm Saturday to pick up wild mustangs to be trained as part of the Extreme Mustang Makeover program.

Run by the Mustang Heritage Foundation, the program gives horse lovers a chance to train mustangs for a few months and prepare them to be adopted at a September auction and horse show in Fort Worth.
