Cedar Park broke ground yesterday on the new event center - a highly anticipated project for the city.
The groundbreaking was a star-studded event with activities for children and the community as well. The Dallas Stars, which will bring their AHL team to Cedar Park and rename them the Texas Stars, provided a Playstation 3 for kids to play hockey on and an inflatable bounce house.
