The Leander school board is soliciting names for a middle school and a high school that are set to open in 2009 and 2010. The board plans to adopt names for the campuses in late June.
New buildings may be named for historical or geographical sites; significant individuals; or local, state, or national historical events. Proposed names should be sent to Bill Britcher, P.O. Box 218, Leander, TX 78646 or bill.britcher@leanderisd.org by May 26 with a written rationale or description of the significance of the name.
