Georgetown was named the No. 2 city in the country to live in and launch a business for 2008 by Fortune Small Business magazine. The magazine said Georgetown’s welcoming of 270 new businesses in the last two years, its low water and electricity rates and its low property taxes are just some of the reasons the area is considered entrepreneur friendly.
