Looking for a Good Symphony in Williamson County?

From statesman.com February 21, 2008...

No need to drive to Austin to hear a symphony orchestra.
Williamson County has its own, and the type of music the orchestra plays is almost as varied as the musicians who perform it.

"We do everything from Beethoven to the movie themes of John Williams," said Ned Rasmussen, membership director for the Williamson County Symphony Orchestra. "We play eight free concerts a year in Williamson and surrounding counties. Yet, surprisingly, many local folks are unaware that we exist."

The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra's next concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 7 at First United Methodist Church, 1004 N. Mays St. in Round Rock. Admission is free.
