Austin has sculptures of guitars. Chicago has cows.
Both are trademark public pieces of art that show off the cities' quirky and artistic sides. But drive through Williamson County, and you'll have a hard time finding something similar.
That's bugging some city officials in Georgetown, Leander and Round Rock. Whether it's because they love art or just want to beef up interest in their towns, officials are trying to spruce up the county's art scene by starting art projects of their own.
