Rain on Easter Sunday gave hope to people in parts of Texas devastated by wildfires.
About 40 people turned out for a service at Stoneburg Baptist Church.
The Rev. Larry Kennedy Sunday told the worshippers that: “Out of the destruction comes something good.” He said hope springs eternal.
Stoneburg was among the hardest hit areas of Montague County when eight fires sprang up Thursday.
