During Capital Metro's five recent open houses, the public has gotten a look inside rail cars, but the train never moved. Monday, members of the media got to take a real ride.
Reporters, photographers and Capital Metro staffers boarded the red line shortly after noon in North Austin. The abbreviated trip would take riders to Leander and back.
