Travis County has set a new all-time high of both monthly and quarterly foreclosures ever.
According to Foreclosure Listing Service, Inc foreclosures in Travis County surpassed 1,400 homes, surpassing the previous record set last quarter.
FLS says, “First Quarter’s posting activity climbed 12% in one quarter from the 1,321 notices filed for the Fourth Quarter of 2008.” Compare that year-to-year and the number is a much higher 43%.
