H.E. Butt Grocery Co. has purchased more than 160 acres in the Central Texas city of Temple where it plans to construct a 400,000-square-foot distribution center.
The warehouse will be built next to Temple’s Rail Park at Central Pointe. When completed, the facility is expected to employ more than 100 workers and serve more than 50 HEB stores in a region stretching from Dallas to Austin.
