Bertram says 77 percent of utility bills are late, unpaid

In Burnet County, Bertram council members are trying to figure out how to collect thousands of dollars in unpaid utility bills.

The Bertram Mayor Pro Tem tells us in a 30 day period, at least 77 percent of utility customers paid late or not at all; Bertram has only 1,300 people. Bertram is owed over $64,000 in unpaid utilities.
