Drought reaching critical condition for Edwards Aquifer

The need for water along the Edwards Aquifer is approaching the critical stage and there’s a call to conserve.

The aquifer is a large area underground that stretches from South Travis County to Uvalde County.

The San Marcos Springs Ecosystem is a water wonderland and the second largest in the state.

It has gorgeous greenery, terrific turtles and a massive supply of minnows.But the lack of rain has caused a drastic drop in the water level and critical conditions for wildlife.
