A doctor in the sleepy South Texas town of Yoakum has won the distinction of being the Country Doctor of the Year.
Folks around town know Dr. David Watson simply as "Doc Watson."
He's part Marcus Welby, part Gary Cooper. Over the last fifty years, the tall and lanky family practitioner has delivered a good many of the town's residents and doctored most of the others.
