New Dog Chaining Ban in Georgetown

From KEYE, December 23, 2008...

Starting Wednesday many will be seeing more dogs roaming behind fences as opposed to being chained up in Georgetown.

Some say this prevents aggressive behavior while others disagree.

The new rule was passed in June. But the City of Georgetown gave folks six months to get the money together to build a fence, before the ordinance went into effect.
