Construction began this week on two new road extensions that are expected to make getting around the Northeast Austin-Pflugerville area a lot easier in 2009.
The $12 million project includes construction of nearly two miles of road extensions to Heatherwilde Boulevard and Wells Branch Parkway. When completed in early 2009, Heatherwilde will run from Howard Lane to FM 1826 and Wells Branch will run from I-35 to Dessau Road.
