A Georgetown place where dogs roam free

Called the Bark Park, the city park was finished in October using $85,000 budgeted in the city's capital improvements plan. More than half of the money paid for the fencing that surrounds the six-acre park at 151 Holly St., not far from San Gabriel Park.

The park is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset.
