Williamson adds EMS staff, will replace system

Months after a former Williamson County employee raised concerns about how the county handles its emergencies, 11 new dispatchers have been hired and county officials are looking to replace an outdated computer system that was at the crux of the employee's concerns.

The new employees started this month and join 34 other dispatchers who field emergency calls for the county.
