Three Williamson County cities released a new plan Wednesday to tap Lake Travis by running a pipeline through part of the Village of Volente, an announcement that led angry village leaders to accuse the three cities of hatching an illegal scheme.
"This is just the way bullies operate," Volente Mayor Jan Yenawine said. "They're still trying to run this into a residential neighborhood against our wishes, and that's unacceptable."
