Last month, residents were asked to give their take on a water project that will eventually pump up to 105 million gallons of water a day from Lake Travis to Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock. The survey results are in, and the three cities heard the same thing they've been hearing for a year: Residents on the lake aren't happy with the $330 million project.
Of the 275 people who responded to the survey, the majority live along the lake. Respondents said their main concern was how the project would affect residents. They also listed construction and traffic volume as temporary concerns.
