Williamson County plans for the future of State Highway 29.
The county eventually wants to make it a 400-foot wide highway -- much like State Highway 290 -- that stretches from Georgetown to the Burnet County line.
But first, they need to acquire the land along that corridor and figure out what will happen in areas like Liberty Hill where homes and businesses already line the four-lane highway.
