The East Texas Regional Airport has received a $741,606 grant to build an additional general aviation ramp on the south end of the field, said Virginia Hall, airport manager. U.S. Sen. John Cornyn announced the grant Tuesday. It comes through the U.S. Department of Transportation by way of the Federal Aviation Administration.
