From Hill Country News April 10, 2008...
Cedar Park Animal Control Officers impounded a bat that was found on the ground outside at the Twin Lakes YMCA day care playground area.
The bat was sent to Texas Department of State Health Services for rabies testing. On Wednesday, April 9, Cedar Park Animal Control received official notification that the bat tested positive for rabies.
