How soon east Leander grows could come down to a single vote tonight, when City Council members consider a proposed subdivision that would bring water and wastewater to parts of the mostly undeveloped side of the city within the next year or so.
But the more than 700 homes and proposed utilities could be rejected on this basis: some council members are unhappy with the lot sizes and the layout of the subdivision plan.
