One of the many historic establishments in the Hill Country can be found right in Cedar Park's backyard and many don't even know about it.
The John M. King Log House, located on Cypress Creek in the Twin Creeks subdivision, is nestled back in the hills overlooking the Twin Creeks Golf Course. While the log house is not open to the public or pedestrian access, the city hopes to make it available for public use in the future, said Cedar Park Parks and Recreation Director Curt Randa.
