Hill Country Vibe Attracts Residents To Driftwood

Not so long ago, the odds were that if you found yourself in Driftwood, you were either there to sample some of the famous barbecue at the Salt Lick or you were on your way to somewhere else.

There wasn't much else to bring anyone to the tiny town — and, some folks would say, almost nothing to make you want to stay.

But a few years and one building boom later, those days are over for Driftwood.
