Cedar Park's latest population charts have been compiled and show the city saw its growth jump.
Cedar Park's population increased 10.5 percent in 2007, compared with 6 percent in 2006. The city's population now stands at about 50,000 people. In its extraterritorial jurisdiction, the city grew 9.5 percent in 2007 compared with a 3 percent growth rate in the previous year. That population now stands at about 22,500.
