State transportation officials used to paving roads face a challenge as they try to pave the way for new highways to handle the state's growing population and traffic loads.
That campaign continues in Carthage in East Texas Wednesday night as Texas Department of Transportation executives hold their second town hall meeting in as many nights. Again, they will hear from the public about the Trans-Texas Corridor and other transportation issues.
