Maurice Walker thought that his students would get a better idea of how important trains are to the nation if they saw one.
That's why he took a group of fourth- and fifth-graders last week from Waco to the Austin Steam Train Association in Cedar Park, where more than 10 cars and two steam engines are usually parked.
